Women, parents, lesbians, safeguarding advocates, sports people, and now faith leaders are urging a “no vote” on the Equality Bill.
NSW Faith Leaders have banded together to oppose the so-called “Equality Bill”. They raise several objections including:
- Replacing biological sex with Self-ID
- Commercial surrogacy
- Promoting prostitution
The 2-page briefer points out how the bill has been put ahead of other member’s bills. It is a complex piece of legislation that amends over 20 other acts. Debate and public awareness is inadequate.
