• Let the associated Conversion Practices Bill lapse
  • Ask your MP to talk to survivors of the gender medicine (modern gay conversion) before voting on conversion practices
• Ban gay conversion (practices to change a person’s sexual orientation)
• Don’t let modern gay conversion come in via the back door by protecting gender identity

Your MP needs to know

• Alex Greenwich’s Equality Bill will make it easier for children to access irreversible medical procedures that leave them sterile
• The Conversion Practices Bill conflates gay conversion with gender identity conversion
• So-called “gender-affirmation” is the medical suppression of one’s natal sex. This is a conversion practice.
• Talking therapy explores the reason for gender distress. It is not “conversion”.
• Gender medicine causes irreversible harm

The Equality Bill 2nd reading was postponed on 23 November 2023, and the bill lapses on 23 December 2023.

NSW Labor have delayed their plans to “ban gay conversion” in 2023.

It is vital that MPs have an opportunity to talk to the survivors of modern gay conversion.

• The irreversible chest, breast and lunch damage caused by wearing a chest binder
• Being dependent on exogenous hormones for life after an oopherectomy or orchidectomy at 17
• The constant vaginal pain and itching after taking testosterone from age 14
• The emotional emptiness and immaturity reported by children taking hormone blockers
• The weakened bones & under-developed organs resulting from never going through puberty
• The feeling of betrayal when survivors realise the adults in their lives allowed them to self-harm
